Abia Police confirms Constable’s arrest for sleeping with Inspector’s wife

Abia Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a Police Constable attached to Eastern Ngwa division for sleeping with a Police Inspector’s wife on the couple’s matrimonial bed.

Superintendent of Police, Geoffrey Ogbonna, Abia Command’s PPRO on Monday told our Correspondent  that. he has heard the report but declined giving further details.

A source close to Aba Police said bloodshed was averted at Aba Area Command in the late hours of Saturday when a female police inspector was caught by her husband making love to a Police Constable on the couple's matrimonial bed.

The source said that the female inspector, names withheld, an indigene of Cross River State, has been having an affair with the said Police Constable for months now.

The source said the Police Constable was coming constantly to sleep the woman in in her husband’s apartment, until last Saturday night when his acts came to the light.

He said the Constable serving at the Eastern Ngwa Police Division, under the Aba Area Command usual sneaks into inspector Magdalene's apartment at nights with her consent to have sex with her.

He said that the Oman’s husband, Michael, a Police Mobile Force operative with a nearby division in the state who is also from Cross River State is usually on duty when the constable visits for to sleep with his wife.

He said that that whenever the constable sneaks into the inspector's apartment late at night to sleep with the woman inspector, the woman keeps neighbours at the Barracks awake with her moaning.

“That night, the constable came in not knowing that the neighbours who are angry at his actions have already laid a trap that will catch him and the woman inspector. 

"He went in as usual and they started their thing with the usual noise the woman makes which keeps neighbours wondering if the couple’s two children are not drugged to sleep during the escapade.

“It was during the peak of their actions that the husband was alerted and he swiftly got there, broke into the apartment and caught them red-handed, with the woman on top of the Constable”, he said.

He said the couple has two kids and have been married traditionally since, many years now but just did their white wedding last year. 

He said that the inspector who is the woman’s husband gave the constable he beating of his life before he handed him and the woman over to the Police which took them and detained them.
